Dr. Dmitri Shaynis completed his medical studies in 1988 in a Ukrainian University. After making Aliyah to Israel he completed his residency in orthopedics in the Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva. Since 2002 he has worked as a surgeon in the spinal area in the Asuta hospital and Herzeliah Medical Center. Since 2005 Dr. Dmitri Shaynis began working in the spinal cord Unit of Beilenson Hospital in Petach Tikva. Dr. Dmitri Shaynis is currently the Spinal Cord Service Manager in the Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva and deals with the editing and writing of legal opinions in orthopedics and spinal cord injuries. Dr. Dmitri Shaynis provides assistance to lawyers in torts cases and in medical malpractice cases in his area of expertise. In addition, he prepares expert opinions for medical committees, medical authorizations and risk and disability assessments for insurance companies. Dr. Dmitri Shaynis receives patients through the insurance of the Leumit and Clalit Mushlam HMO, as well as maintaining a private practice in his clinic on Ben Gurion Street 17, Ashkelon, on Wednesdays between 16:00-19:00. He is a member in good standing of the following professional associations
